Is there a difference between a giclèe print and a standard non giclee print?
Simply put, Giclèe is a fine art print that has been created using a specialized high resolution inkjet printer. Yes, it is an “art print” but giclèe prints stand apart because of their extreme high level of quality, colour balance and longevity compared to a standard print.
Giclèe prints are also printed using only pigmented inks onto superior quality archival paper, as opposed to standard inks and paper.
