ORIGINAL PAINTINGS - Wonderful wildflowers
My main focus with this series of large watercolour paintings is a celebration of colour, and my lifelong love of being inspired and uplifted by colour.
When painting each of these paintings I'd start with one beautiful colour, and then select my next colour to compliment and "make pop " the colour sitting next to it, a harmonious colour process that involves careful placement of paint (to avoid muddying the painting), and knowing exactly how to interpret and manipulate a basic colour wheel.
I also adore wild and loose tangled flower meadows, hence I wanted to combine both things to create a series of exciting and lively paintings full of wild energy and exciting colourways.
I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
Love
